We are Troop 729, an all-boy troop "linked" to Troop 1729, an all-girl troop
We are both active, high adventure, youth-run troops that share variety and excitement!
OUR LEADERSHIP
Troops 729 & 1729 enjoy strong support and expertise from its committee and uniformed leadership. There are 16 Eagle Scouts among the adults guiding these troops!

> Ropes course and zip-line at Camp Manidokan

> Klondike Derby at Camp Rodney
> Skiing in the mountains of PA, WV, MD
> Climbing Old Rag Mountain
> Camping on Sugarloaf Mountain
> Scout Camporees
> Merit Badge University Campout
> Summer Camp at Henson and Blue Ridge Scout Reservations
> Treks to Philmont Scout Ranch - 2009, 2012, 2015 & 2019
> Backpacking in Olympic National Park including climbing snow-covered Mt. Adams in Washington State - 2010 & 2016
> Canoeing in the Adirondacks
> Sea Base, 2009, 2013, 2020

Both Troops 729 and 1729 are chartered by Towson American Legion Post #22. From 1972 through 2017, Troop 729 was chartered by Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church. Both Troops left Towson Presbyterian Church in 2021.
